Everything you need to know about professional bin cleaning — from how it works to what it costs and where we serve.
Professional trash bin cleaning is a recurring service that deep-cleans and sanitizes your trash and recycling bins using high-pressure hot water and biodegradable disinfectant. Household bins collect bacteria, mold, and pests rapidly — pathogens like E. coli and Salmonella can survive in a bin for days after pickup. A garden hose and soap do not reach the temperatures needed to eliminate them. Professional cleaning does.
A standard garden hose delivers cold or lukewarm water at low pressure — enough to rinse visible debris, but not enough to kill bacteria or eliminate odors at the source. Our system heats water to over 250°F and delivers it at high pressure through 360-degree cleaning heads that reach every interior surface. We follow that with a biodegradable antibacterial wash and a deodorizing treatment. The result is a bin that is genuinely sanitized, not just rinsed.
Water at 250°F kills the bacteria, mold spores, and pathogens that survive at lower temperatures. Most harmful microorganisms — including E. coli, Salmonella, and Listeria — are destroyed at sustained temperatures above 160°F. Our system exceeds that threshold on every visit, which is why our cleaning eliminates odors and contamination rather than masking them.
We schedule your cleaning for the same day as your regular trash pickup, after your bins have been emptied by your waste hauler. You do not need to be home. Simply leave your bins at the curb after your truck passes and we handle everything. When we are finished, your bins are returned to the position you designated — clean, sanitized, and ready to go.
Just let us know. You can update your pickup day any time through your customer portal or by calling us directly at (913) 489-1343. We will adjust your cleaning schedule to match your new trash day at no charge.
Yes. We clean both trash and recycling bins. Recycling bins accumulate residue from food containers, paper, and cardboard just like trash bins do — and they are rarely cleaned. Adding your recycling bin to your plan is a simple add-on. Select it when you enroll or add it any time through your customer portal.
No. Our equipment is designed to clean your bins without causing any damage to surrounding surfaces. We are careful about where we work and how we position our equipment, and we leave your driveway and property exactly as we found it — only your bins will look different.
Yes. We use a biodegradable, eco-friendly antibacterial wash that is safe for families and pets once it has dried. You do not need to keep children or animals away from the area after we have finished. Our cleaning agents are chosen specifically because they are effective against pathogens without leaving harmful residues.
All wastewater is captured and contained by our closed-loop system. Nothing runs off into your driveway, yard, or the storm drain. This is one of the most important differences between a professional bin cleaning service and a DIY rinse — improper wastewater disposal can introduce bacteria and contaminants into the local water supply. Our system ensures that does not happen.
